PART ONE: OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – APRIL 2026 HOLY GHOST SERVICE

Date: Friday, 3rd April 2026 (First Friday of the Month)

Time: 7:00 PM (WAT)

Venue: Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria

Theme: The Blood and The Glory (Easter Edition)

Every first Friday of the month, the Redeemed Christian Church of God gathers at the Redemption Camp for the Holy Ghost Service — a night of worship, prayer, teaching, and Holy Communion. This April edition holds special significance as it falls during the Easter season, reminding us of the sacrifice and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ .

The Holy Communion is not merely a ritual; it is a spiritual encounter. It is a time when believers come to the table of the Lord to remember His death, proclaim His resurrection, and receive healing, deliverance, and breakthrough.

PART TWO: THE SIGNIFICANCE OF HOLY COMMUNION

1. A Memorial of His Sacrifice

Jesus instituted the communion at the Last Supper, saying, “This do in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19). The bread represents His body broken for us; the cup represents His blood shed for the remission of sins. When we partake, we proclaim His death until He comes (1 Corinthians 11:26) .

2. A Time of Healing and Deliverance

The Bible says, “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come” (1 Corinthians 11:26). It is a time when physical and spiritual healing is released. Many testimonies have emerged from Holy Communion services of miraculous healings, deliverances, and breakthroughs .

3. A Covenant Renewal

Communion is a covenant meal. It renews our relationship with God and reminds us of our identity in Christ. It is a time to examine ourselves, repent of sin, and recommit to walking in holiness.

4. Proclamation of Victory

When we take communion, we are not just remembering — we are proclaiming. We proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. We proclaim that death has been defeated. We proclaim that sin has been conquered. We proclaim that the enemy has been disarmed .

PART THREE: MESSAGES FROM PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE FOR APRIL 2026

Message 1: When He Is In The Boat

“And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” — Exodus 33:15

Pastor Adeboye shares a powerful testimony from his ministry:

“Years ago, I travelled to Abonnema in Rivers State, Nigeria, to hold a crusade. At that time, the only way one could get to Abonnema from Port Harcourt was by sea. Shortly before the crusade, we heard that a boat capsized on that sea and many people lost their lives. That news, however, did not deter me, as I had made up my mind to go for the crusade.

“I called a meeting with the workers at the RCCG National Headquarters and asked for volunteers to accompany me. One of the workers raised his hand and asked me, ‘Sir, can I be in your boat?’ I told him that he could. Then he responded, ‘That will be good.’ I asked him why he said so, and he replied that he knew that whatever boat I travelled in would not sink.”

This worker understood a profound truth: the presence of God on a vessel makes that vessel unsinkable.

The Storm That Couldn’t Win

In Mark 4:35-41, Jesus got into a boat with His disciples to cross the Sea of Galilee. He was physically present with them. Then a storm arose — violent, life-threatening. Waves crashed over the boat. Water poured in. Experienced fishermen were terrified.

And Jesus was asleep.

This is crucial: Jesus’ presence didn’t prevent the storm. The storm came even though He was in the boat. But His presence meant the storm had no authority. When He woke and spoke, the wind and waves had to obey. The storm that should have sunk them became the stage for His glory .

What It Means to Have Jesus in Your Boat

1. You Have Divine Presence — You are not alone in your journey.

2. You Have Divine Protection — Angels guard your path.

3. You Have Divine Authority Over Storms — You can speak to your situation with His authority.

4. You Have Divine Guarantee of Arrival — Jesus said, “Let us pass over unto the other side.” Your arrival is guaranteed .

Key Point from the Message

“When Jesus is in your boat, you will overcome every storm.”

Message 2: Help Is On The Way! (Excerpt from 2nd April 2026 Devotional)

Pastor Adeboye shares a sobering testimony about seeking help outside God:

“Sometime in 1980, there was a woman in RCCG who was trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Although we all prayed for the woman as a church, my wife and I took it upon ourselves to pray for her regularly on our family altar. Shortly after, she informed us that she was pregnant. On hearing the good news, we were really happy for her. We were dancing and singing praises to God on her behalf when she told us, ‘Somebody advised me to look elsewhere for a solution to my childlessness… The people I went to for a solution also used the Bible. However, they also performed some traditional rituals and asked me to participate in certain rituals as well. Look at the result now; I am pregnant.’ This happened over four decades ago, yet the last time I heard of her, she was still pregnant.”

He then shares another testimony:

“There was another woman who also desperately wanted a child. She got tired of waiting on God, so she sought fetish means to find a solution. Shortly after, she became pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy. When the woman’s son was about six years old, he went into her room one day, stripped himself naked, and said, ‘Let’s have sex.’ The mother was shocked. During a deliverance session, the boy said, ‘Don’t waste your time; I am not possessed. I am a demon incarnate.'”

The Warning

“Beloved, do not seek any kind of help outside God. Those who seek other gods and alternatives to God will eventually end up in sorrow. Today’s memory verse says that the sorrow of those who seek after other gods shall be multiplied. Those who seek help apart from God always pay dearly for it because the devil has nothing free to give.”

Key Point

“Father, please help me to wait patiently on You for Your help at all times.”

Message 3: It Is Finished (From Open Heaven for Teens)

The last statement Jesus made on the cross before He died was, “It is finished” (John 19:30). This was not a cry of defeat — it was a declaration of victory over satan, sin, and death. It signified the restoration of the relationship between God and man .

When we come to the Holy Communion table, we are partaking in that finished work. The sacrifice has been made. The price has been paid. The victory has been won. Our job is not to earn salvation — it is to receive it and walk in it .

Key Point

“To enjoy this blessing of restoration, you must accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour if you have not yet done so. Thereafter, you must be intentional about living a holy life so that the devil will not have any power over you.”

PART FOUR: PRAYERS FOR THE HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE

Prayers Based on Pastor Adeboye’s Teachings

1. Thanksgiving for the Sacrifice of Jesus

Father, I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to die for me. Thank You for the body of Jesus broken for me and the blood of Jesus shed for the remission of my sins. I am grateful for the finished work of Calvary. In Jesus’ name.

2. Prayer for Divine Presence in Your Boat

Lord Jesus, I invite You into the boat of my life. As You were with the disciples on the Sea of Galilee, be with me in every storm. I refuse to face life’s challenges alone. Step into my situation and speak peace to every raging wind. In Jesus’ name.

3. Prayer for Deliverance from Seeking Help Outside God

Father, forgive me for every time I have sought help outside of You. Forgive me for every alternative source I have turned to in moments of desperation. I renounce every covenant made with darkness. I declare that my help comes from You alone. In Jesus’ name.

4. Prayer for Healing Through Communion

Father, as I partake of the bread, I receive healing in my body. Every sickness, every disease, every infirmity — I command them to leave now. The body of Jesus was broken for my healing, and I receive it by faith. In Jesus’ name.

5. Prayer for Forgiveness Through the Blood

Father, as I drink of the cup, I receive the forgiveness of my sins. The blood of Jesus cleanses me from all unrighteousness. Every guilt, every shame, every condemnation — I declare them gone. I am washed. I am forgiven. I am free. In Jesus’ name.

6. Prayer for the Church

Father, please empower Your church to function as the salt of the earth indeed so that everyone who comes into the church will begin to experience sweetness in their lives. Lord, please strengthen every leader in Your church. Empower them with wisdom, courage, and determination to do the work of ministry and shepherd Your flock. In Jesus’ name.

7. Prayer for Persecuted Churches

Dear Lord, please arise and help all the persecuted churches around the world. Strengthen their faith and help them not to deny You. Protect our brothers and sisters who are suffering for the name of Jesus. In Jesus’ name.

8. Prayer for the Holy Spirit Outpouring

Father, baptize Your Church afresh with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Let a fresh wind of revival blow through every local assembly. Ignite in every believer a renewed passion for prayer, holiness, and the Great Commission. Let signs and wonders follow the preaching of the Gospel. In Jesus’ name.

9. Prayer for Pastor E. A. Adeboye

Father, please bless your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye. Honor his faith in You and grant him divine health and long life. Continue to be his provider and bless his ministry, home, and family (biological and spiritual). Help them to remain a shining light forever. In Jesus’ name.

PART FIVE: DECLARATIONS FOR THE HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE

(Speak these aloud in faith as you prepare for or participate in the Holy Communion service)

1. I DECLARE that as I partake of the bread, I receive healing in my body! Every sickness and disease is destroyed by the power of communion!

2. I DECLARE that as I drink of the cup, I receive the forgiveness of my sins! The blood of Jesus speaks better things over my life!

3. I DECLARE that every curse is broken by the blood of Jesus! Every yoke is destroyed by the power of communion!

4. I DECLARE that Jesus is in the boat of my life! No storm can sink me because the Master of the sea is with me!

5. I DECLARE that I will not seek help outside God! My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth!

6. I DECLARE that the finished work of Calvary is sufficient for me! It is finished! Sin is defeated! Death is conquered! The enemy is disarmed!

7. I DECLARE that I am a king, and my words carry divine power! I speak God’s Word boldly, and it produces results!

8. I DECLARE that every mountain before me moves at the sound of my voice in Jesus’ name!

9. I DECLARE that I receive a fresh baptism of fire and power from the Holy Spirit today! I am a bold and effective witness for Christ!

10. I DECLARE that my life is filled with testimonies of answered declarations! What God cannot do does not exist!

PART SIX: PREPARATION FOR HOLY COMMUNION

Before coming to the Holy Communion service, believers are encouraged to:

1. Examine Yourself

“But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup” (1 Corinthians 11:28).

Take time to confess any known sin and seek forgiveness. The Holy Communion is not for those living in deliberate, unrepentant sin. It is for those who come with a contrite heart, seeking the mercy and grace of God .

2. Come with Expectation

Believe that God will meet you at the point of your need. Whether you need healing, deliverance, provision, direction, or restoration — bring it to the table of the Lord. Faith is the currency of the kingdom .

3. Invite Others

Bring someone who needs an encounter with Jesus. The Communion service is not just for you — it is an opportunity for others to meet the risen Lord .

4. Be Grateful

Come with thanksgiving. The Holy Communion is a memorial of the greatest act of love in history. Let gratitude fill your heart as you approach the table .

PART EIGHT: PRAYER FOR THE HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE

Father, I thank You for the Holy Communion. I thank You for the body of Jesus broken for me and the blood of Jesus shed for me.

As I partake today, let every sickness in my body be healed. Let every sin be forgiven. Let every chain be broken.

I remember Your sacrifice, and I am grateful. I proclaim Your death, and I receive Your life.

Let this communion service be my appointed time of breakthrough. Let it be the day when every storm in my life is silenced. Let it be the hour when every yoke is destroyed.

I invite You into the boat of my life. Take Your rightful place. Speak peace to my raging winds. Calm every fear. Still every doubt.

I receive Your presence. I receive Your power. I receive Your peace.

In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

PART NINE: CONCLUSION

The April 2026 Holy Communion Service is more than a monthly gathering — it is a divine appointment. It is an opportunity to encounter the risen Christ, to partake of His body and blood, and to receive healing, deliverance, and breakthrough.
