BASIC SCRIPTURE: NUMBERS 14:1-10 (KJV)

1. And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.

2. And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

3. And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

4. And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

5. Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

6. And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:

7. And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

8. If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

9. Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.

10. But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, forgive me for every time I have wept, murmured, or wished to go back to my Egypt instead of moving forward in faith. (Numbers 14:1-3)

2. Lord, destroy every spirit of rebellion and murmuring in my heart that speaks against Your servants and Your plan for my life. (Numbers 14:2)

3. Father, deliver me from the temptation to choose a captain that will lead me back to bondage instead of following You into my promised land. (Numbers 14:4)

4. Lord, give me the spirit of Moses and Aaron — to fall on my face in intercession when others rebel, not in anger but in prayer. (Numbers 14:5)

5. Father, raise up Joshua and Caleb spirits around me — men and women who see the good land despite the giants. (Numbers 14:6-8)

6. Lord, let me see my enemies as bread for me, not as barriers. Remove the fear of the people of the land. (Numbers 14:9)

7. Father, even when the congregation wants to stone the truth-tellers, let Your glory appear in my situation and silence the voice of rebellion. (Numbers 14:10)

8. Lord, I refuse to die in this wilderness of unbelief. I shall enter my promised land in Jesus’ name. (Numbers 14:2, 8)

DECLARATIONS

1. I declare that I will not die in the wilderness of murmuring and unbelief. My mouth shall speak faith, not fear.

2. Egypt is behind me forever. I will not return to bondage, no matter how hard the journey becomes.

3. The land before me is an exceeding good land — flowing with milk and honey. I possess it now by faith.

4. The Lord delights in me. Therefore, He will bring me into my promised land and give it to me.

5. My enemies are bread for me. Their defence is departed, and the Lord is with me. I will not fear them.

6. I refuse to stone the messengers of truth. I receive the word of the Lord with a humble and obedient heart.

7. The glory of the Lord shall appear in my situation today. Every rebellion, murmuring, and conspiracy against my destiny is silenced.

8. I am a Caleb and a Joshua in my generation. I see the promise, and I shall possess it.

Key Verse: Numbers 14:9 — “Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us.”

Two Voices in This Passage:

• The Congregation’s Voice: Weeping, murmuring, blaming Moses, wanting to go back to Egypt, suggesting a new captain.

• Joshua and Caleb’s Voice: The land is good, the Lord delights in us, He will give it to us, do not rebel, do not fear, the Lord is with us.
