BASIC SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 6:1-11 (KJV)

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Father, deliver me from the deception of continuing in sin just because grace abounds. Let me never abuse Your mercy. (Romans 6:1-2)
Lord, let the reality of my baptism — death, burial, and resurrection with Christ — become alive in my daily walk. (Romans 6:3-4)
Father, I ask that You crucify my old man completely. Destroy every root of sin in my life that still seeks to serve sin. (Romans 6:6)
Lord, I declare that I am freed from sin. Every chain, every addiction, every stronghold is broken by the power of the cross. (Romans 6:7)
Father, let me walk in newness of life today — not in the old patterns, habits, and mindsets of my past. (Romans 6:4)
Lord, I reckon myself dead indeed unto sin. I refuse to let sin reign in my mortal body any longer. (Romans 6:11)
Father, as Christ died unto sin once and now lives unto God, let my life be fully alive unto You — not partially surrendered. (Romans 6:10-11)
Lord, give me the grace to know, not just in my head but in my experience, that death no longer has dominion over me because I am in Christ. (Romans 6:9)

I declare that I am dead to sin and alive to God through Jesus Christ my Lord. Sin is no longer my master.
I refuse to continue in sin that grace may abound. God forbid! I walk in holiness, not presumption.
My old man is crucified with Christ. The body of sin is destroyed in my life. I shall not serve sin.
I am buried with Christ by baptism into death, and I am raised with Him to walk in newness of life.
Death has no dominion over me. I am freed from sin. I am no longer a slave; I am a son of God.
I reckon myself dead indeed unto sin. Sin shall not reign in my mortal body.
Because Christ lives unto God, I also live unto God — fully, completely, and eternally.
I am planted together in the likeness of His death, and I shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection.

The Word “Reckon”: This is an act of faith. You do not feel dead to sin — you reckon it by faith. You declare it, believe it, and walk in it.
