“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”

TEXT 2: Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 (NKJV)
“1 Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.

2 Give a serving to seven, and also to eight, for you do not know what evil will be on the earth.

3 If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth; and if a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it shall lie.

4 He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.

5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind, or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of God who makes everything.

6 In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good.”

1. Prayer for a Violent, Forceful Faith

“Heavenly Father, ignite in me a spirit of holy violence and aggressive faith. Clothe me with courage to lay hold of Your promises, to push through spiritual resistance, and to take my God-ordained territory by force.”

• Declaration: I am not passive in my walk with God. I am a spiritual warrior, taking ground for the Kingdom of Heaven with forceful, determined faith.

2. Prayer to Cast My Bread Upon the Waters

“Lord, I choose to sow generously and trustingly today—my finances, time, talents, and kindness—even when I cannot see the immediate return. I release my resources by faith into Your hands.”

• Declaration: I cast my bread upon the waters of divine purpose. My seed will not be lost; it will return to me multiplied in God’s perfect timing.

3. Prayer Against the Spirit of Over-Analysis and Delay

“Father, break the spirit of ‘observing the wind’ in my life. Free me from paralyzing over-analysis, fear of failure, and waiting for perfect conditions. Grant me the courage to sow and act now!”

• Declaration: I will not be ruled by fear or observation. I sow in season and out of season. I move forward by faith, not by sight.

4. Prayer for Consistent, Double-Portion Sowing

“Lord, give me wisdom to diversify and increase my sowing. As You instruct to ‘give a serving to seven, and also to eight,’ teach me to sow beyond the minimum, to spread my influence, and to prepare for unforeseen challenges.”

• Declaration: My generosity is strategic and abundant. I sow into multiple fields, and my harvest will be secure and overflowing.

5. Prayer for Trust in God’s Mysterious Workings

“God, I acknowledge that I cannot fathom Your ways, just as I do not know the path of the wind. I surrender my need for control and choose to trust You completely with the outcome of my obedience.”

• Declaration: I trust the unseen hand of God. Even when I don’t understand the process, I believe God is working all things together for my good.

“Holy Spirit, make me diligent in every season of life. Whether in the ‘morning’ of my opportunities or the ‘evening’ of apparent delays, let my hand never slack from sowing good seed.”

• Declaration: I am a constant sower. Morning and evening, in youth and in age, I am faithful to plant. I will not withhold my hand from doing good.
