BASIC SCRIPTURE: 2 KINGS 6: 16-22
Vs 20 of today’s scripture says: “And it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, that Elisha said, ‘LORD, open the eyes of these men, that they may see.’ And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and, behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.” Most times, God will NOT allow the enemy to see you till you have crossed certain junctures of life! They will not see you till you have arrived at a certain level of GRACE! That was the same reason why Ex 13:17 says: “And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, ‘Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt.” Did you get that? God did not want them to come in contact with, or SEE the PHILISTINES because they would have CRUSHED the young nation easily!

God can keep you off your enemies’ RADAR for a season, to enable you CROSS OVER many rivers and mountains before they see you! Remember that later, they confronted the PHILISTINES AND DISGRACED THEM through David! Also, a prayer you should always pray for the next 90 days is: “LORD, OPEN THE EYES OF MY ENEMIES TO SEE THE TABLE YOU HAVE PREPARED BEFORE ME!” Yes, we love to pray for our STUBBORN ENEMIES to die! It is Biblical! Did Pharaoh not perish for God’s work to prosper?
Did Ahithophel not die for David to sit on his throne? But don’t forget that Psalm 23:5 is still in the Bible! God can also PREPARE YOUR TABLE OF DECORATION in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5)! They can be alive to see your glory! Elisha re-opened the eyes of the Syrians, after he had surrendered them to the king of Israel in order to SHOW THEM THAT JEHOVAH IS THE HIGHEST! That should be your story and your prayers! Consider a similar example in the case of two angels who visited Lot in Sodom. The principle of blinding your enemies is no more than being hidden by God – Psalm 27: 5; Psalm 64: 2, Psalm 91: 4, Psalm 143: 9. The key to staying hidden by God is to stay in the place of intimacy with Him – to remain in the secret place. Prepare for World Vigil Day on Friday August 17th 2018.
