ADDITIONAL REFLECTION — SATURDAY, 10TH OCTOBER 2026

Key Verse: Ecclesiastes 3:1 — “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

The Divine Order of Seasons (Verse 1):

Solomon declares a foundational truth. There is a season for everything. There is a time for every purpose. Nothing is random. Nothing is accidental. Nothing is without purpose. God has ordered the universe in seasons and times. The sun rises and sets. The moon waxes and wanes. The tides come and go. The seasons change. The years roll on. There is a rhythm to life. There is a pattern. There is a design. And there is a purpose. Every purpose under heaven has its time. Not every purpose. Not just some purposes. Every purpose. God has a plan. God has a timeline. God has a schedule.

The Fourteen Pairs of Seasons (Verses 2-8):

Solomon lists fourteen pairs of opposites. Fourteen seasons of life. Fourteen times and purposes.

A time to be born, and a time to die. Life begins. Life ends. Both are in God’s hands. Both are part of His plan.

A time to plant, and a time to pluck up. There is a season for sowing. There is a season for reaping. There is a season for starting. There is a season for ending.

A time to kill, and a time to heal. There is a time for judgment. There is a time for mercy. There is a time for destruction. There is a time for restoration.

A time to break down, and a time to build up. There is a time for demolition. There is a time for construction. There is a time to tear down. There is a time to rebuild.

A time to weep, and a time to laugh. There is a time for sorrow. There is a time for joy. There is a time for tears. There is a time for laughter.

A time to mourn, and a time to dance. There is a time for grief. There is a time for celebration. There is a time for lament. There is a time for dancing.

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones. There is a time for scattering. There is a time for collecting. There is a time for letting go. There is a time for holding on.

A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing. There is a time for closeness. There is a time for distance. There is a time for intimacy. There is a time for separation.

A time to get, and a time to lose. There is a time for gain. There is a time for loss. There is a time for acquiring. There is a time for releasing.

A time to keep, and a time to cast away. There is a time for preserving. There is a time for discarding. There is a time for treasuring. There is a time for throwing away.

A time to rend, and a time to sew. There is a time for tearing. There is a time for mending. There is a time for breaking. There is a time for repairing.

A time to keep silence, and a time to speak. There is a time for quietness. There is a time for words. There is a time for listening. There is a time for proclaiming.

A time to love, and a time to hate. There is a time for love. There is a time for hatred. There is a time to love what God loves. There is a time to hate what God hates.

A time of war, and a time of peace. There is a time for conflict. There is a time for rest. There is a time for battle. There is a time for calm.

The Wisdom of Discernment:

The key to walking in seasons is discernment. You must know what season you are in. You must know what time it is. You must know what God is doing. You must know what God requires of you. You cannot plant in the harvest. You cannot reap in the planting. You cannot weep when it is time to dance. You cannot be silent when it is time to speak. You cannot embrace when it is time to refrain. You cannot keep when it is time to cast away. You must discern. You must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. You must be attentive to the voice of God. You must be aware of the times and seasons.

Trusting the God of Seasons:

God is the Lord of seasons. He is the one who orders them. He is the one who controls them. He is the one who brings them to pass. Nothing happens outside of His sovereign will. Nothing occurs beyond His divine purpose. He is working all things together for good. He is making all things beautiful in His time. Trust Him. Trust His timing. Trust His plan. Trust His purpose. He knows what He is doing. He knows when to do it. He knows how to do it. He knows why He is doing it. Do not fight against the season. Do not resist the time. Do not rebel against the purpose. Submit to Him. Yield to Him. Follow Him. And you will find peace in every season. You will find joy in every time. You will find purpose in every circumstance.

Question for the Day — Saturday, 10th October 2026:

Do you know what season you are in? Are you fighting against God’s timing or trusting in it? Are you planting when you should be plucking up? Are you weeping when you should be dancing? And are you walking in step with the God of seasons?
