BASIC SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 43: 14-21

Basic Scripture: Isaiah 43:14-21 (King James Version)

14 Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
16 Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

Prayer Points and Declarations

1. The Redeemer Who Fights for Me

• Scripture Ref: v. 14

• Prayer Point: Father, I thank You that You are my Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. You do not stand idly by while I am oppressed. You send judgment against my enemies and bring down every force that rises against me. I trust You to fight my battles.

• Declaration: The LORD is my Redeemer! He fights for me against every enemy. Every Babylon in my life—every oppressive system, every stronghold—is being brought down by His mighty hand .

2. The Holy One, My Creator, My King

• Scripture Ref: v. 15

• Prayer Point: Lord, You are the Holy One of Israel, the Creator of all that I am, and my King. I bow before Your authority and worship Your holiness. Let Your kingship be established in every area of my life.

• Declaration: The LORD is my Holy One, my Creator, my King! I am not a product of chance; He formed me. I am not without leadership; He rules over me. I submit to His reign in every part of my life .

3. The God Who Makes a Way in the Sea

• Scripture Ref: v. 16

• Prayer Point: Father, You are the God who made a way through the Red Sea. I bring before You every situation that looks like an impossible barrier. Part the waters before me and create a path where none exists.

• Declaration: My God makes a way in the sea! No Red Sea of impossibility can block my path. He goes before me and opens a way through the deepest waters .

4. The God Who Destroys the Armies of the Enemy

• Scripture Ref: v. 17

• Prayer Point: Lord, every chariot, every horse, every army raised against me—I trust You to bring them down. The enemy’s power is extinct before You. They are quenched like tow—consumed in an instant. I rest in Your complete victory.

• Declaration: The enemy’s armies are extinct before God! Every force that rises against me is quenched like burning flax. The battle is the Lord’s, and the victory is mine .

5. Releasing the Past

• Scripture Ref: v. 18

• Prayer Point: Father, forgive me for living in the past—whether clinging to past glories or imprisoned by past failures. You command me not to remember the former things. Help me to release what is behind so I can embrace what is ahead.

• Declaration: I release the former things! I will not live in the past—not in its successes nor in its sorrows. God is doing something new, and I will not miss it by looking backward .

6. Expecting the New Thing

• Scripture Ref: v. 19

• Prayer Point: Lord, I open my heart to the new thing You are doing. Remove my spiritual blindness so that I may perceive it. You say, “Now it shall spring forth.” I declare that my season of spring is here—fresh growth, fresh movement, fresh breakthrough.

• Declaration: God is doing a new thing! It is springing forth now. I will not miss it. My eyes are open, my heart is ready, and I am stepping into the new thing He has prepared for me .

7. A Way in the Wilderness

• Scripture Ref: v. 19

• Prayer Point: Father, every wilderness I am facing—every dry, barren, confusing season—I ask You to make a way through it. I do not need to stay in the wilderness; You are creating a path that leads me out.

• Declaration: God makes a way in my wilderness! The barren places are not my permanent address. He is carving a path through every dry season, leading me into fruitfulness .

8. Rivers in the Desert

• Scripture Ref: v. 19

• Prayer Point: Lord, where there is dryness, bring rivers. Where there is lack, bring abundance. Where there is spiritual thirst, bring living water. Let streams of Your provision, Your presence, and Your refreshment flow through my desert places.

• Declaration: Rivers flow in my desert! What was dry is now watered. What was barren is now fruitful. God’s provision flows where there was once only lack .

9. Creation Honors God Through My Provision

• Scripture Ref: v. 20

• Prayer Point: Father, You said that even the beasts of the field, the dragons, and the owls will honor You because You give water in the wilderness for Your people. I thank You that Your provision for me brings glory to Your name. Let my testimony of Your faithfulness cause creation itself to praise You.

• Declaration: My provision brings glory to God! When He supplies my needs in impossible places, it testifies to His power. My testimony causes even creation to honor Him .

10. Water for the Thirsty

• Scripture Ref: v. 20

• Prayer Point: Lord, I come to You thirsty—thirsty for Your presence, Your direction, Your provision, Your refreshing. Give me water in my wilderness. Let rivers of Your Spirit flow through me and satisfy every longing of my soul.

• Declaration: God gives me water in the wilderness! I will not thirst. He satisfies my soul with rivers of living water. His provision meets my deepest needs .

11. Formed for God’s Purpose

• Scripture Ref: v. 21

• Prayer Point: Father, I am not an accident. You formed me for Yourself. I was created with intention, with purpose, with destiny. Reveal to me the specific purpose for which You created me, and help me to walk fully in it.

• Declaration: I am formed for God Himself! I am not a mistake or an afterthought. I was created with divine intention, and I will fulfill the purpose for which I was made .

12. A Vessel of Praise

• Scripture Ref: v. 21

• Prayer Point: Lord, You formed me to show forth Your praise. Let my life be a continual testimony of Your goodness. Use my story, my victories, my deliverances—even my trials—to bring glory to Your name.

• Declaration: I am created to show forth God’s praise! My life is a testimony. My mouth declares His goodness. My story brings glory to His name. I am His praise vessel .
