BASIC SCRIPTURE: 2 KINGS 13: 14-19 (KJV)

2 KINGS 13:14-19 (KJV)

14 Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.

15 And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows.

16 And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands.

17 And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD’S deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.

18 And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.

19 And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

DECLARATIONS (Based on 2 Kings 13:14-19 KJV)

(Speak these aloud in faith)

1. I declare that I will not wait until I am dying to seek the prophet’s voice. I will honor the men and women of God while they are alive, and I will not weep over them only when they are gone. (2 Kings 13:14)

2. I declare that the Lord has given me spiritual fathers and mothers who are chariots of Israel and the horsemen thereof. I will not take them for granted. (2 Kings 13:14)

3. I declare that I will take hold of the bow and arrows of God’s word, God’s prophecy, and God’s direction. I will not face my battles unarmed. (2 Kings 13:15)

4. I declare that as Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands, the mantle of prophetic power and direction is being transferred to me. I receive the touch of God through His servants. (2 Kings 13:16)

5. I declare that I will open my window eastward—toward the direction of God’s rising sun, His mercy, and His deliverance. I will not look backward but toward the dawn of God’s victory. (2 Kings 13:17)

6. I declare that every arrow I shoot in faith is the arrow of the LORD’S deliverance. No enemy—Syria, sickness, poverty, or depression—shall stand before me when I shoot the arrow of God’s word. (2 Kings 13:17)

7. I declare that I will not smite the ground only three times and stop. I will strike again and again—five times, six times, until the enemy is consumed, until the victory is complete. I refuse to be half-hearted in prayer, in warfare, or in faith. *(2 Kings 13:18-19)*

8. I declare that the anger of the man of God came because of incomplete obedience and limited vision. I will not provoke the Lord by stopping too soon. I will press until I have consumed every enemy. (2 Kings 13:19)

9. I declare that I will not settle for three victories when I could have total consumption. I reject the spirit of “enough” when God says “more.” (2 Kings 13:19)

10. I declare that my deliverance is not partial but complete. I will smite until consumption. I will pray until breakthrough. I will fight until the enemy is no more. (2 Kings 13:17, 19)

PRAYER POINTS

1. Honor the spiritual fathers and mothers God has placed in your life.

• Father, I thank You for every prophet, pastor, teacher, and spiritual leader You have sent into my life. Forgive me for the times I have taken them for granted, ignored their counsel, or waited until they were gone to value them. Help me to honor them while they are alive as Joash honored Elisha. (2 Kings 13:14)

2. Pray for the transfer of prophetic direction and anointing.

• Lord, as Elisha put his hands upon the hands of King Joash, I ask for a fresh transfer of Your prophetic anointing and direction upon my life. Lay Your hands upon my hands. Let me shoot arrows of deliverance that are guided by Your Spirit, not by my own strength. (2 Kings 13:16)

3. Open your window eastward—pray for a new direction and fresh hope.

• Father, I open my window eastward today. I look toward the rising sun, toward Your mercies that are new every morning. I turn away from the west of defeat, the north of coldness, and the south of complacency. Shine upon me, O God, and let Your glory arise over my situation. (2 Kings 13:17)

4. Shoot the arrow of deliverance over specific battles.

• Lord, I take up the bow of Your word and the arrow of Your promise. I shoot this arrow over [name your specific battle—sickness, finances, family, addiction, fear]. I declare that this is the arrow of the LORD’S deliverance. Let Syria fall. Let the enemy be smitten in Aphek—at the very place of his strength. (2 Kings 13:17)

5. Repent for stopping too soon in prayer and warfare.

• Father, forgive me for smiting the ground three times and staying. Forgive me for giving up too early in prayer, for fasting halfway, for believing partially, for quitting when the battle was almost won. I repent for the spirit of “staying” when I should have kept striking. (2 Kings 13:18)

6. Pray for the spirit of complete consumption, not partial victory.

• Lord, give me the spirit that smites five or six times—until the enemy is consumed, not just wounded. I refuse to settle for three victories when You have promised total deliverance. I will strike again and again with prayer, with praise, with faith, and with Your word until every Syrian in my life is consumed. (2 Kings 13:19)

7. Pray against the anger of God due to incomplete obedience.

• Lord, let me not provoke Your anger as Joash did. Let me not grieve Your Spirit by stopping halfway. I want to hear “Well done, good and faithful servant,” not “You should have smitten five or six times.” Align my heart with complete obedience and relentless faith. (2 Kings 13:19)

8. Pray for the arrow of deliverance over your nation and community.

• Father, I shoot the arrow of the LORD’S deliverance over my nation. Let every Syrian spirit—every spirit of oppression, corruption, violence, and darkness—be smitten until consumed. Let Aphek be the place of turning, where the enemy falls and cannot rise again. (2 Kings 13:17)

9. Pray for a dying prophet’s final instruction to be fulfilled in your life.

• *Lord, even when Your servants are sick and near death, they still carry Your word. I will not despise the voice of the dying prophet. Whatever instruction You give me through Your word today—whether to shoot, to open a window, or to strike the ground—I will obey fully, not partially. (2 Kings 13:14-19)*

10. Declare total consumption of every long-term enemy.

• Father, You promised Joash that he would smite Syria till he had consumed them—but only if he struck five or six times. Today I declare that I will strike and strike again. I will not stop until every generational enemy, every recurring battle, every stubborn stronghold is completely consumed. No more partial victories. Complete consumption in Jesus’ name. (2 Kings 13:17, 19)

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

I take the bow and arrows of God’s word and prophecy. I open my window eastward toward the rising sun of His mercy. I shoot the arrow of the LORD’S deliverance over every battle in my life. I will not smite the ground three times and stay. I will strike five times, six times—until the enemy is consumed, not just wounded. I refuse to provoke the anger of the man of God by incomplete obedience. Today, I declare total consumption of every Syrian spirit. The arrow of the LORD’S deliverance has found its mark. Amen.
