LUKE 21:15 (NKJV)

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.

ECCLESIASTES 7:1-9 (NKJV)

1 A good name is better than precious ointment, And the day of death than the day of one’s birth;
2 Better to go to the house of mourning Than to go to the house of feasting, For that is the end of all men; And the living will take it to heart.
3 Sorrow is better than laughter, For by a sad countenance the heart is made better.
4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, But the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.
5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise Than for a man to hear the song of fools.
6 For like the crackling of thorns under a pot, So is the laughter of the fool. This also is vanity.
7 Surely oppression destroys a wise man’s reason, And a bribe debases the heart.
8 The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
9 Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, For anger rests in the bosom of fools.

• Declaration: I declare that I have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God. When I speak, it is with a God-given eloquence that silences opposition and advances His kingdom.

2. THE VALUE OF A GOOD NAME & SOBER REFLECTION

• Prayer Point (from Eccl. 7:1, 4): Father, help me to live in such a way that my reputation (“a good name”) brings honor to You. Grant me a wise heart that learns from life’s sobering moments. Turn my times of mourning and reflection into seasons where my heart is made better, stronger, and more aligned with Your purpose.

• Declaration: I declare that I cherish integrity over temporary pleasure. My heart seeks wisdom in sober reflection, and I am building a legacy of a good name that is more valuable than wealth.

3. OPENNESS TO CORRECTION & PATIENCE OF SPIRIT

• Prayer Point (from Eccl. 7:5, 8-9): God, deliver me from the fool’s laughter that avoids correction. Give me the humility to welcome the rebuke of the wise, knowing it leads to life. Cultivate in me a patient spirit, trusting that Your work in me will end better than it began. Guard my heart from the haste of anger, which only breeds folly.

• Declaration: I declare that I am teachable and patient. I receive correction as a tool for growth. My spirit is calm and steadfast, trusting God’s process, for the end of my matter will be better than its beginning.

• Prayer Point (from Eccl. 7:7): Lord, be my shield. Protect my mind and my moral compass from the destructive pressure of oppression and the corrupting lure of unjust gain. Keep my reason pure and my heart upright before You in a crooked world.

• Declaration: I declare that I walk in integrity. My judgment is not for sale, and my heart is not debased. I am preserved in wisdom and righteousness by the power of God.
