BASIC SCRIPTURE: 2 KINGS 7:1–11 (KJV)

1 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

5 And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.

9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

10 So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.

11 And he called the porters; and they told it to the king’s house within.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, give me ears to hear and a heart to believe Your word, no matter how impossible the situation looks. (Based on v. 1)

2. Lord, deliver me from the spirit of unbelief and mockery that says, “Even if God opens windows in heaven, this cannot happen.” (Based on v. 2)

3. Father, every “lord” leaning on human power who speaks against my destiny, silence them by Your fire. Let me see Your promise fulfilled even if they do not partake. (Based on v. 2)

4. Lord, give me the desperation of the four lepers—the courage to rise up and take action rather than sit still and die. (Based on v. 3–4)

5. Father, go ahead of me like the angelic noise that scattered the Syrian army. Let every enemy camp blocking my breakthrough hear the sound of confusion and flee. (Based on v. 6–7)

6. Lord, turn my place of shame (the lepers at the gate) into a place of discovery. Open my eyes to see the abundance You have already prepared for me. (Based on v. 8)

7. Father, give me a heart of compassion like the lepers. Deliver me from selfish enjoyment of Your blessings when others around me are still perishing. (Based on v. 9)

8. Lord, use me as a carrier of good tidings to my family, my church, and my nation. Let me not hold my peace when You have given me a testimony. (Based on v. 9)

DECLARATIONS

(Speak these aloud in faith)

1. I declare that no famine, no siege, and no impossibility shall stop the word of the Lord over my life. Tomorrow, my turnaround shall manifest!

2. I declare that every spirit of mockery and unbelief is broken over my life. I believe the report of the Lord, and I shall see His goodness.

3. I declare that I will not sit still and die. I rise up in the name of Jesus, and I move toward my miracle, even if the path looks dangerous.

4. I declare that the Lord has already gone before me to scatter every Syrian (enemy) camp. Confusion has fallen upon my adversaries, and they are fleeing for their lives.

5. I declare that I am stepping into unexpected wealth, hidden treasures, and divine provision. Silver, gold, and abundance are being released to me even now.

6. I declare that I will not eat alone or hide my blessing selfishly. I am a carrier of good news, and I will share my testimony to save others.

7. I declare that this day is a day of good tidings for me and my household. My season of famine is over; my season of abundance has begun.

8. I declare that as the Lord spoke through Elisha, so He speaks over me today: “Tomorrow about this time, your miracle shall arrive.” I receive it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
